1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work as the visitor expects, and to give site owners basic information about how pages are being used.

Cookies do not contain your name or any payment information. They hold small identifiers that help a website remember things like whether you have already accepted a notice, or which pages have been viewed in a session.

2. Types of Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Always active

Required for the website to function. These handle things like remembering your cookie preference and keeping the site secure. They cannot be turned off.

Examples: cookieConsent, session identifiers

Analytics Cookies

Optional

Help us understand which pages are visited most often and how visitors move through the site. This lets us improve the areas people find useful. No personal identity is recorded.

Examples: Google Analytics (_ga, _gid)

Marketing Cookies

Optional

Used to show relevant service information when you visit other sites. We use these sparingly, and only when it helps people who have already looked at our services find us again.

Examples: Google Ads, Meta Pixel

Preference Cookies

Optional

Remember settings you have selected, such as language or display choices, so you do not need to set them again on your next visit.

Examples: Language selection, display options

Your preferences have been saved.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are placed by third-party services we use, rather than by Bumi Paip directly. These include:

  • Google Analytics โ€” page usage statistics, set only if analytics cookies are accepted.
  • Google Maps โ€” the map embed on our homepage may set session cookies from Google when loaded.
  • Advertising networks โ€” only active if marketing cookies are accepted.

Third-party cookies are governed by the respective provider's privacy and cookie policies. We encourage you to review those policies directly if you have questions about how those services handle data.
